Report on neuromuscular meeting in Vaals april 2010

On April 23rd and 24th 2010 the second joint meeting of the Belgian-Dutch Neuromuscular Study Club and the German Reference Center for Neuromuscular Diseases took place in "three countries meeting point" Vaals. The first meeting was held in 2007.

The 2010 meeting was organised by Marc De Baets, Maastricht (chairman) and Joachim Weis, Aachen (local organizer) and a great success with the attendance of approximately 80 people working in the filed of neuromuscular disorders. The audience heard interesting lectures on neuropathies and motor neuron diseases on Friday and presentations on new strategies on myopathies and myasthenic syndromes on Saturday. This all in the pleasant setting of the Castle Hotel Bloemendal. In three years the next joint meeting will be planned.
