Prinses Beatrix Spierfonds prize for young investigator

On the 10th of January 2014 the yearly Prinses Beatrix Spierfonds Symposium neuromuscular disorders was held.

At this symposium the prize for the best neuromuscular paper published in 2013 was handed to Monique van Scherpenzeel for her paper 'Multiple phenotypes in phosphoglucomutase 1 deficiency', which was published in the New England Journal of Medicine. The prize was announced by prof. dr. Jan Verschuuren (chair ISNO) and given to her by drs. Jan-Ite de Ruijter (director of Prinses Beatrix Spierfonds).
